App: QR Studio — Scan & Generate (com.qrkaro.app) · Last updated: 19 July 2026

TL;DR — QR Studio does not collect or sell any personal data. Your scans and codes stay on your device. There are no accounts, no ads, and no cloud servers. The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase only to understand anonymous usage (e.g., which screens are used) so we can improve the App.

1. Who we are

QR Studio ("the App", "we", "us") is an Android application that scans and generates QR codes and barcodes. This policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.

2. Data we collect

The App does not collect or sell any personal information. Specifically, the App has:

The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous usage statistics, such as:

This data is aggregated, is not linked to your identity, and — importantly — never includes the content of your QR codes, barcodes, or scan history. We use it solely to understand how the App is used and to improve it. See Firebase Privacy & Security for how Google processes this data.

3. Camera permission

The App requests the CAMERA permission solely to scan QR codes and barcodes in real time. Camera frames are processed on-device only and are never recorded, stored, or uploaded. The camera is active only while the Scan screen is open.

4. Scan history & generated codes

Codes you scan or create are saved in a local database on your own device so you can revisit them in the History screen. This data:

If you use "save to gallery", the generated image is stored in your device's photo library under your control.

5. Internet access

The App includes the INTERNET permission for two purposes: (a) when you choose to open a link contained in a scanned code, it is handed to your browser; and (b) to transmit the anonymous usage statistics described in section 2. The App does not upload your codes, scans, or history anywhere.

6. Third-party services

The App integrates one third-party service: Google Analytics for Firebase (see section 2), operated by Google LLC under the Google Privacy Policy. The App does not integrate advertising or social SDKs. When you open a scanned link or share content, the receiving app (e.g., your browser or messaging app) handles that data under its own privacy policy.

7. Children's privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected at all, there is nothing to disclose or delete on request.

8. Security

Because your data stays on your device, its security is governed by your device's own protections (screen lock, encryption). We recommend keeping your device OS up to date.

9. Your rights

Under regulations such as GDPR and CCPA you have rights over personal data. QR Studio keeps your content local and collects only anonymous, aggregated usage statistics that are not linked to your identity, so there is no personal profile for us to access, correct, export, or erase. Deleting the App removes all locally stored history and stops all analytics collection.

10. Changes to this policy

If the App's data practices ever change, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above before the change takes effect.
