These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the QR Studio Android application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. License to use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Android devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Google Play's terms.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- use the App to create or distribute QR codes or barcodes that link to malware, phishing, scams, or other harmful or illegal content;
- use generated barcodes to misrepresent products, forge retail labels, or commit fraud;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App except where permitted by law;
- use the App in a way that violates the rights of others or applicable regulations.
3. Scanning third-party codes
QR codes and barcodes you scan are created by third parties. We are not responsible for the content behind scanned codes — links may lead to external websites we do not control. Always exercise caution before opening links or acting on scanned data.
4. Your content
Codes you generate and your scan history remain on your device and belong to you. You are solely responsible for the content you encode into QR codes or barcodes and how you share them.
5. Privacy
The App collects no personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Availability & updates
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time to improve the experience or comply with platform requirements. Updates are delivered through Google Play.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose or error-free operation. Scanning accuracy and barcode readability by third-party scanners may vary with device hardware and print quality.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the App, including damages resulting from third-party content accessed via scanned codes.
9. Termination
These Terms remain in effect while you use the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate or suspend the license if you breach these Terms.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at this page, and the "Last updated" date will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
